1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GoFindOut, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or app.

These Terms govern your use of the service. For information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with GDPR and other data protection laws, please see our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of Service

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use GoFindOut.
  • You agree to use GoFindOut only for lawful purposes.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You agree not to share your account credentials with others.

3. User Accounts

On app.gofindout.io, you can create an account either with Google OAuth or with your email address and a password. User data is stored securely on Supabase. Registered users can see events for the next 5 days, while non-registered users see events for the next 2 days.

Acceptance of Terms: By registering an account, you automatically accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You can change your email address and password at any time from your account settings.
  • If you forget your password, you can use the "Forgot Password" feature to reset it.
  • You can delete your account at any time, which will remove your personal information and event interaction data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements.
  • You can set optional preferences such as opting in to our newsletter through your account settings.

4. Event Submissions

Users can submit event proposals through our TALLY form. The only user submission flow is through this form to propose an event. Submissions are manually reviewed by our team and may be approved or rejected based on our criteria. Approved submissions may be paid listings, and you may be contacted regarding payment. We reserve the right to reject any submission at our sole discretion.

By submitting an event proposal, you represent that you have the right to submit the information and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

5. Event Information and Third-Party Links

Event Aggregator: GoFindOut acts as an event aggregator. We aggregate public information about events, which may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect. Event images and information are only indicative. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or safety of any event listed on our platform. Event details may change, be incorrect, or be cancelled without notice. Users should verify all information with the original event sources before attending any event.

Service Coverage: We currently cover only specific cities, not all regions. Our service availability is limited to the cities we actively support.

Event Registration: Some events require registration to view full details. Registration is free and may be required by the event organizer.

Event Details Lookup: When you open an event's "More details", we redirect you to your browser with a pre-filled Google search query so you can verify information or find tickets. This redirect uses your system browser (not an in-app browser) as many sites block in-app views. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of Google or any third-party sites accessed through these searches.

External Links: On event detail pages, external links redirect users to third-party websites for further information. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these third-party sites. Your use of external links is at your own risk.

6. Third-Party Services

GoFindOut uses third-party services including Supabase (authentication and data storage), Google (OAuth and Places API), Mapbox (maps), and Brevo (email delivery). We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

GoFindOut is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to event attendance, loss of data, or third-party actions.

Data Protection Liability: While we take data protection seriously and comply with GDPR requirements, we are not liable for data breaches caused by third-party services (such as Supabase) beyond our reasonable control, provided we have taken appropriate security measures.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of GoFindOut after changes means you accept the new terms.
